About BroTrades

We're building the platform that tracks your path to profitability.

Most trading tools tell you what happened. Far fewer help you work out why, or what to do differently next time. BroTrades is built for the part that comes after the trade.

The record

Where the plan broke, and where it resumed

This curve is drawn, not traded. It shows what the rule check marks once it ships: the day the plan was written, the stretch where it stopped being followed, and the point it was picked up again. The founder’s own journal replaces it when that story is complete.

01

Why we exist

The problem isn't information

A trader's problem is rarely a missing indicator. It's that nothing keeps an honest record of what they decided, and whether they stuck to it. An exchange shows a balance. A chart shows a past. Neither shows the plan you wrote on Sunday and abandoned on Wednesday.

Every other journal

  • ✕Tells you what you lost, down to the cent
  • ✕Treats a broken rule and a broken plan as the same red number
  • ✕Leaves the plan somewhere the numbers never touch it

On BroTrades

  • ✓Tells you which part failed — the plan, or you
  • ✓Checks each trade against the rules you wrote down

02

The questions

What a trader actually needs answered

Q1Was my plan wrong, or did I not follow it?
Two different problems with the same symptom. One needs a new plan; the other needs discipline. Most tools never separate them, so traders fix the wrong one for years.

The path

From no system to a plan you actually follow

Five steps, in order. Every one of them is measured against your real trades — not a quiz, not a checkbox.

  1. 01

    Learn the method

Structured courses from schools that teach on this platform, with lessons and homework a mentor actually reviews.

    • Homework
    • Mentor review
  2. 02

    Prove it on history

Import your backtests and read them properly — where the edge is, and where it only looked like one.

Schools on BroTrades

Teachers already run their courses here

Their lessons, their homework, their mentors — with each student’s real trades sitting beside the material. These are the schools that backed the platform early and built their teaching on it.

Student numbers and start dates are each school’s own figures.

05

Who's behind it

Built by a trader, in the open

Portrait of the founder
“I built the tool because I needed something that would tell me, honestly, whether the week was the market’s fault or mine.”

The path started at Shiba Inu, as a solution architect sitting among real traders. The journal itself came out of TaranenkoTrade — a school whose standards for how a trade should be recorded were higher than any tool then met. Every feature here exists because a real account needed it first, and the founder’s journal runs on the same auto-import anyone else gets.

The key

What the key is for

What

A read-only key from the exchange you already trade on.

Connect once and your trades arrive on their own. Nothing to paste again, nothing to forget.

  • Bybit
  • Binance
  • OKX
  • Read-only exchange keys

Why

Because the trade isn’t the decision.

The interesting part is the limit you left sitting for two days, the size you changed at the last second, the order you cancelled and then re-entered worse. Fills alone can’t show you any of it.

Keys & data

What we can and cannot do with your account

You are handing a journal an exchange key. Here is exactly what that permits.

  • We cannot trade for you

The key you connect is read-only. We can read your closed positions — we have no ability to open, close or move anything, and no way to withdraw.

  • Keys are encrypted, then hidden

Your API keys are encrypted before they are stored, kept apart from the rest of your data, and never shown again — not to you, not to us, not to your browser.

  • Private until you publish

Your journal is private by default. Profile sharing and feed auto-post are switches you control, and you can turn them off.

  • Your data stays yours

We do not sell it, rent it, or train anything on it.

  • Take it with you

Ask the support team and we will export everything we hold on you. Your record should not be locked in because we are the ones storing it.

08

Plainly

What we don't do

  • No signals

We will never tell you what to buy. A tool that hands you entries cannot also teach you to find your own.

  • No managed money

We do not touch capital. We ask you to create a read-only key — that is all the platform needs.

  • No promised returns

Nobody here knows what your account will do next quarter, including us.

  • No prop-firm churn

We are not paid when you fail a challenge and buy another one.

  • No overtrading incentives

The product is not designed to push you to open more positions. We track consistency and discipline, not how many trades you made today.

We don't manage money, sell signals, or promise returns. The product is the work: a plan, whether you followed it, and the numbers that tell you which.

What actually shipped

This list updates when we ship. It is here so you can tell whether the thing is alive.

  1. In buildThe rule check: every imported trade scored against the plan you wrote.
  2. Aug 25, 2026Your backtests now get AI notes — a short read on each trade and on the run as a whole, shown publicly with a beta badge. It reads the numbers so you can see what a strategy did well and where it leaked.
  3. Aug 23, 2026You can edit your own feed post for 15 minutes after posting. Once the window closes the post says so plainly instead of quietly dropping the Edit button.
  4. Aug 22, 2026A switch in your settings decides whether the AI comments on your trades. On by choice, off any time — you stay in control of what gets written.

BroTrades is a record-keeping and education platform. It is not a broker, an exchange, or an investment adviser, and nothing here is financial advice. Trading leveraged instruments carries a high risk of losing more than your deposit and is not suitable for everyone. Past performance does not indicate future results. Trade only capital you can afford to lose.

The plan held — you did not

The setup was the one you wrote down, and it behaved as expected. Three rules broke: size, stop, session. That makes this a discipline problem, not evidence against the plan.

This is what the rule check will show. The engine is being built — the plan and the journal already exist.

Q2Does this setup survive outside the ten trades I remember?
Import the backtest and read the whole curve — the drawdown, the streaks, and the stretch where the edge quietly stopped working.
Q3What am I supposed to do differently on Monday?
A number is not an instruction. The point of the record is to end each week with one specific thing to change, not a mood.
